Overview
Toyota Vanguard’s engine can be chosen from 2 types: a 2.4-liter in-line 4-cylinder engine (125 kW / 224 Nm) and 3.5 liter 6-cylinder V6 engine. The 4-cylinder engine model is equipped with a continuously variable transmission Hyper CVT-i, 6-cylinder engine model is equipped with 5-speed electronic control transmission Super ECT.
All cars are adopted with the active torque control 4WD system, and steering-assisted vehicle stability control S-VSC is built in. Initially, the 2WD version did not exist. Hill start to assist control & downhill assist control are integrated into all models as standard equipment. Safety features are really great: SRS airbag system, curtain airbags, a 3-point seat belt for the rear center seat, headrest, etc. are equipped.
